Board of Directors
Gary Lamb is a qualified accountant (CIMA) who has gained extensive business experience over the past 25 years in numerous senior roles. Gary is currently Chief Executive Officer of Manx Telecom plc. Gary led Manx Telecom through a successful initial public offering on AIM in 2014. Prior to joining Manx Telecom, Gary was a founder director of Bladon Jets Limited, and a Non-Executive Director until July 2017. For 11 years, prior to Bladon Jets, Gary was the Finance & IT Director of Strix Limited, leaving in 2007. Gary was a key member of a successful team that delivered impressive growth and played a leading role in two leveraged management buy-out sales to private equity houses.
Chief Executive Officer
Mark joined Strix in 2006. He leads the organisation, setting the strategic direction and policy and works closely with his leadership team to translate Strix’s strategy into tangible results. His experience includes various positions ranging from Engineering Director through to Managing Director for multinationals in Europe and the Americas, with his most recent positions being Managing Director of a company within the Ametek Inc. Group and latterly ABS Waste Water Limited.
Chief Financial Officer
Raudres joined Strix in 2011 and is responsible for financial management. She has over 25 years of international experience in corporate finance, business management and mergers and acquisitions. She has worked in Toronto, Japan, Beijing and Hong Kong for multinationals such as IDT International Ltd, Nortel Networks Inc., Level 3 Communications Inc., Nike International Ltd, ASSA ABLOY Ltd, holding senior finance and strategic planning positions. Raudres has a BComm and MBA from McMaster University and qualified as a Chartered Accountant in Canada.
Mark qualified as a Chartered Accountant with PricewaterhouseCoopers in London and has extensive corporate experience gained over the last 25 years having held numerous senior roles in public and private companies.
Mark’s initial career was in corporate finance, predominantly spent at UBS Limited. In 2003, as part of the founding team, he became CFO of Raven Mount plc (now part of Raven Russia Limited) and later became CFO of Marwyn Management Partners plc. Mark is currently CEO of Delin Property.
Mr Sells is an experienced company director and advisor with over 30 years' experience working across multinational corporations, public companies, entrepreneur-led SME enterprises, and private-equity backed businesses. He was previously Chief Innovation Officer at Electrolux AB, ran Electrolux's refrigeration business, and was Group Managing Director for Electrolux in the UK.
He served previously as Chairman of AMDEA, the Association of Manufacturers of Domestic Appliances, and was on the board of London listed Alba plc. Additionally, he has worked with a number of entrepreneur-led private companies and served as a deal advisor for a large private equity firm. Mr Sells currently serves on the Advisory Board of Evrythng, an IoT data analytics business, and is as an Associate at The Foundation, a growth consulting firm.
Chief Operating Officer
Frank joined Strix in 2012. He directs and leads the global operations team which spans Strix’s Guangzhou and Ramsey facilities, and oversees the company’s overall manufacturing, supply chain and technology footprint. Frank has over 20 years of experience at various multinationals including 15 years with Nortel and 5 years with Jabil Circuits. Frank holds a Bachelors Degree in Telecommunications Engineering from Changchun Post and Telecommunications Institute and an MBA from Southern Cross University in Australia. Frank also holds a Six Sigma Black Belt.
Chief Commercial Officer
Harry joined Strix in 2019 and is responsible for Sales, Marketing, Engineering, Commercial Operations and our Water Category comprising of our Aqua Optima and Astrea brands. He has a wealth of strategic international experience, having worked as Director of Sales, Marketing and Strategic Planning, in both traditional and e-commerce landscapes with Philips, Whirlpool and, more recently, Glen Dimplex. Harry has a track record of delivering market growth and consistently exceeding profit and revenue targets, whilst holding key leadership roles through two mergers at both Philips and Whirlpool.
Chief Technology Officer
Ceyda joined Strix in 2021, and owns technology solutions within the company and is responsible for driving the company’s growth through innovation. She has over 20 years of international experience within Quality, Engineering, Regulatory Compliance, Program Management and Mergers & Acquisitions, with a proven record of ensuring flawless execution and commercialisation of product roadmaps. She has worked in Turkey, the UK and The Netherlands for diverse companies such as Ford Motor Company, Aston Martin Lagonda, Siemens, Philips Consumer Lifestyle and Avery Dennison. Ceyda has a BEng in Mechanical Engineering, and MSc in Engineering & Technology Management from Bogazici University, and is a certified Lean Six Sigma Black Belt and M&A professional.
Nick joined Strix in 1992 and directs the global engineering team, which includes the research and development facility in the Isle of Man and the Engineering Department at Guangzhou. Nick was previously the factory manager at the Ramsey facility. Nick holds a BEng (Hons) Manufacturing Systems and Management from Brunel University and a MSc from Manchester University. Nick is also a member of The Institution of Engineering and Technology.
David joined Strix in 1991 and directs the Commercial Operations department, optimising commercial activities through IPR and product safety, market intelligence and pricing management. David’s experience includes IT project management, factory management, and commercial management within the Finance Department. David holds a MEng (Hons) Manufacturing Engineering and Management from Loughborough University and a MSc from Manchester University.
Director of Group Finance
Neil joined Strix in July 2021 and directs the Finance teams across all Group locations. He is a qualified Management Accountant (CIMA) and has more than 20 years’ experience in international multi-site Finance Director roles, Neil has predominantly worked in the Manufacturing sector including Aerospace, Automotive & Medical Device sectors, this involved Neil working overseas including spells in the USA, Mexico & Slovakia, Neil began his career with BICC Cables, before moving on to work in senior finance roles at the Dunlop Beaufort Group, Senior Plc and Ansuka Group Ltd as well as working in PE backed business development environments. Neil has extensive experience of strategic business growth and specialises in sustainable change management and team development.
Group HR Director
Emma joined Strix in 2020 and is responsible for developing and executing the People Strategy across the Group. She has accumulated a wealth of HR management leadership experience over the years, both as an in-house expert and an external consultant. Emma has worked in a number of different sectors including FMCG (ASDA), Optics (Specsavers), Engineering consulting (Group Artelia), HVAC |(Ingersoll Rand), and latterly, Dynniq. Emma has a particular interest in learning and development, and is a qualified Executive Coach, as well as practitioner in a number of psychometric testing tools. She also has a Degree in English Literature gained from Swansea University, and is a Fellow of the CIPD.
Water Category & Global Marketing Director
Neil joined Strix in 2020 and has a dual role heading up the Global Marketing teams and leading the Water Category. He has extensive commercial experience, primarily in the consumer electronics industry, having led Sales, Marketing and Strategic execution teams at both Whirlpool EMEA and the Glen Dimplex Group, including successfully project managing the integration of Indesit/Hotpoint UK into the Whirlpool Corporation. Most recently Neil was Chief Commercial Officer for Medical Neuro stimulation company Neurovalens.
Director of Divisional Operations
Matt originally joined Strix in 2003 and is predominately based in our Guangzhou location. He leads the global Manufacturing Engineering teams researching and implementing innovative methods of manufacture, including the realisation of our comprehensive Automation strategy and New Product Introduction as well as functional responsibility for the Isle of Man based Ramsey Factory. Matt also has global responsibility for the Company’s ISO Quality Management Systems and for providing technical guidance and solutions to the Customer facing Quality & Application Engineering teams. He has extensive Manufacturing experience having previously consulted for a number of Food & Pharmaceutical Companies.
